Carlos is a former Army Ranger who continued to serve after the military in Federal Law Enforcement. Carlos started kiteboarding in 2008 and his passion for the sport led him to found Wind Sports for Wounded Warriors (WS4WW)- a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been introducing wounded warriors to a variety of watersports for over a decade now. He continues to serve on their board and as one of their kiteboarding instructors. Carlos draws his experience to teach from years of experience teaching physical skills in Federal Law Enforcement. as well as his time as a kiteboarding instructor. Carlos was certified by the Professional Air Sports Association as a kiteboarding instructor.
Gavin is a lifelong waterman with a deep-rooted passion for the ocean and water sports. Growing up surfing the waves of Southern California, Gavin developed a profound connection to the sea at an early age. After moving to the coast of Georgia in 2003 he continued to nurture his love for being on the water. In Georgia, Gavin embraced a variety of water sports, including sailing, surfing, kayaking, kiteboarding, and the innovative e-foil. His extensive experience and enthusiasm for these sports naturally progressed into a professional career. Gavin has worked his way up from a dedicated water sports guide to becoming the water sports manager at a local five-star resort, where he shares his expertise and passion with others, ensuring they have memorable and safe experiences on the water.
